Sleep

Susan you ask about sleep, I see that I forgot to mention that I do force myself to sleep in the next day. For example I just woke up half an hour ago. While very weird to sleep until 2:30pm the mind and body seem to enjoy. Today I don't go into work until 9pm -ish so while the crazy late nights are crazy late it is more like I work 10 hours after I get to work and take a few breaks inbetween. Too my days outside of work are usully filled with reading. I straighten up the apartment, cook myself some eggs with rosemary and read. Right now I am reading "What the Bleep do we know" apparently not a lot but have the ability to know tons! Actually it is an amazing book if you keep an open mind. It opens your mind to Quantuam Physics and seems to remind me of some ideas brought up in Hitchhiker's guide. (like the earth being a huge organic computer) and other things. It is a book more on how we view the world and how you are in control of the life you lead by how you perceive the world around you. Pretty interesting, like here is a quote from the "Why aren't we magician's chapter"-- "It is said that because Jesus never lied, and he would absolutly never do so, that when he said something, because he never lied, the universe had to comply." So yes there is a lot of comments that make you think about things the way Anciet Koan do but it raises questions (which all good books do) and doesn't make you feel like the universe is a horriable place to be. Also just the knowledge of Dr. Masuru Emoto's work on water crystals is enough to make the book worth wild. Which due to copyright laws I can't post a picture but do visit his website and look for yourself

6:49am

So yes another post with a time as title indicating that I just got home. Well I really got home around 6:30 but there was the whole changing into cloths that are comfy and not covered in paint, I stress the later. Putting V8 and other snacking foods away yada yada yada. The set is looking cooler and cooler I was going to take a picture to post but between the brick grout and sanding I forgot. Today was nice though because Karen (who I might steal from Eric and make her a paint intern) stayed and helped me paint. Well more she was hairspraying plexi so the lighting designer doesn't yell at the set designing for for place 20 reflective surfaces center stage. But it was a huge help and she painted somethings black, and kept me from talking to my paint brushes for a little while longer. Also Eric was staying late to work on sound so he went for a Starbucks run (yes I know not the greatest but only place within walking distance of the theatre) we had a 5 dollar gift certificate each from Bari for helping with a funraising event so I ask him to get my the larges chai my card would buy. mmm so good. Then we painted ( Karen and I and Eric worked on sound. ) Before they left we had a chocolate eyeball break from Karen's Halloween care package, hmmm chocolate eyeballs, it is here we started to talk about restuarants we missed from home and how far was too far to drive for fresh krispy kremes. mmm okay I need to stop talking about food, and get some sleep tomorrow I paint the floor.

Camera luv

My passionate love affair with my camera is still going strong. I posted a lot of random pictures on Facebook because it has no limit mwhahahaha take that flickr! No I like flickr just waiting to spend the money. dying to work on my negatives, might break down and buy a small light table to play. Still leaves me with the problem of developing the final prints but one step at a time. I need to do more shoots instead of randomness. Most of the facebook stuff is randomness but still fun.

Full set

It is offical the first show of the season has closed and the next one is almost completely loaded in. Sunday was the last show of Six Dances Lessons, and Moon over Buffalo apparently started to move in during the Six Dance Lesson's Strike! I was excused from strike due to the fact I needed to paint. I didn't mind because I got to paint inside. I have been working during the day outside because the shop is too small to fit me, the set and the carpenters so outside I go. It really is not that bad until the afternoon. I have been developing a nice tan and almost got heat stroke one day. (A thunderstorm was going to hit and I was pushing to get everything painted before the rain. I figure I will just work until it starts raining and then take a real lunch break. Well it never rained so I didn't take a real lunch break which was fine because I did eat and was stopping to get water but I didn't reapply sunscreen and being overcast I didn't really feel the sun until it was too late. Luckly the heat hit me just about the time I was going to go home anyway so it worked out fine.) I need to expland my flickr account or post smaller pictures. Seriously I fill up the month allowance with a couple of pictures it is crazy. Here are a few of the show.
